Saint-Martin d'Ardèche

10 minutes from the Rhone river valley (motorways, etc.), Saint Martin d' Ardèche is in the vines and hills, near the Ardèche river.

Close to the famous Ardèche river Gorges, it is an ideal place for holidays, close to a century-old suspension bridge, a lake and beaches under the medieval fortress of Aiguèze.
With Mediterranean scrubland as a background, Saint Martin has a uniquely favourable climate. The mimosas flower in golden splendour until the end of autumn.

Very busy in summer, it is a bustling centre with shops and services open all year long.
There are a host of things to do including walks, sports, visits to local places of historic interest and, for the more idle, ideal spots just to laze in the sun.
